It’s been a struggle getting back to the blog. Not writer’s or photographer’s block; very full days working on new projects and trying to keep all the balls in the air! So far, so good. Thanks for your patience.
I am in the midst of a three-week trip through the coastal areas of northern California, Oregon and now up into the islands of Washington’s Puget Sound (Whidbey Island to be specific). It’s been a terrific trip so far. Connected with friends along the way, oddly enough those from the east coast who happen to be out here at the same time. Small world.
Spent a little time this morning at one of my very favorite places to shoot: the Coupeville (WA) Pier. The skies were bald blue and the wind was nil. Very quiet and a lovely way to start the day.

Nice meeting you and thanks for sharing your photographic insights and expertise at the recent workshop. Plus I’m loving these IR images of the Coupeville Pier! I hope you post some more from your travels when you get a chance.
It was terrific meeting you as well Cindy! Your work is awesome! We sure had fantastic locations on the workshop. We sure lucked out with the weather. We are socked in with fog this morning.
